Salad Savoy Corporation Introduces
the Latest in “Taste, Color & Nutrition™” –
Carnival Cauliflower™

September 1, 2005 (Salinas, CA)—The Salad Savoy Corporation is proud to announce the arrival of the latest addition to its current colorful line of vegetables: Carnival Cauliflower. Keeping with the company’s tradition of "taste, color & nutrition," the new pack showcases gorgeous cauliflower with a deep purple color, vibrant orange, rich green and the original white color.

The new item joins an already dazzling product line that includes their flagship item, Salad Savoy Leafy Vegetable, as well as the multicolored chard known as Bright Lights. Always a pioneer in the world of colorful vegetables, Salad Savoy Corporation has also combined Salad Savoy and Bright Lights to create an eye-popping braising salad titled Steamin’ Greens.

Commercial shipments of Carnival Cauliflower are underway, with volume to cover the anticipated demand for this hot item. The cauliflower is available in either 6 or 8 count, with no more than one white head, 2 green heads, and the balance in orange and purple heads. Adding to the differentiation is the new pack size, which is half that of a standard cauliflower carton, equating to 104 cartons per pallet.

This new item is sure to brighten any vegetable platter when served raw with a flavorful dipping sauce. To enjoy it cooked, simply steam the florets for 3 to 5 minutes, and enjoy as is or add to your favorite dish. For more recipe suggestions, you can log on to www.saladsavoy.com.
